Healthy eating, your best choice for a healthy life

We are going to learn about the importance of choosing the correct food and physical activity in order to keep healthy.

  1. - First of all you should look up these words in a dictionary.
to miss- faltar.        junk food- "comida basura"
research- recerca  nutrients- nutrients
fuel-combustible    dairy food- menjar de cada dia

   2. -Watch the video in which Rosie introduces her friends and answer the questions.

   3.- Tony is very disappointed (not happy). Why? 
-Because he cant be in the school football team.
  • What his problem and how can he solve it?
  • -He needs more exercice and eat proberly.
  • We are going to help Tony to eat properly, ok?


   4.-Go to food and fuel and find out where the body gets its fuel from.
The boddy gets the fuel to the nutrients, and the nutrients are in food and drink.

   5.-Now that you know where the fuel comes from, draw a food pyramid in which we can distinguish the five food groups and the correct proportions we should eat.

   6.- Find the nutirents in each of  the food groups and write them next to the pyramid.





















FUEL BOX

Protein- fish, eggs, meet
Carbohydrathes- pasta, bread, cereals, potatoe.
Fats- butter, cake, chocolate
Vitamins and Minerals- carrot, tomatoe, lettchuse,bananas, grapes
Calcium- Yoghurt, milk, cheese.

Healthy habits


IS YOUR DIET HEALTHY?
  1.   Can you find a healthy recipe?

Tuna carpaccio with strawberry and black pepper sauce and a baby leaf salad

A light and elegant starter that’s super-speedy to make. Chill the tuna thoroughly to make it easier to slice.

Ingredients

For the tuna
  • 600g/1lb 5oz sashimi grade tuna, cut from the loin
  • 2 lemons, juice only
  • 50ml/2fl oz light olive oil
  • sea salt and cracked white peppercorns
For the salad
For the strawberry sauce

Preparation method

  1. Slice the tuna as thinly as possible using a very sharp knife. Place it in a plastic bag with the lemon juice, olive oil, salt and white peppercorns. Leave to marinate for five minutes.
  2. For the salad, mix together the different salad leaves and olive oil. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  3. For the sauce, blend the ingredients in a food processor to make a smooth purée then pass through a fine sieve.
  4. To serve, lay the tuna out on a plate, drizzle with the sauce and garnish with the salad.
